Abstract: This text discusses diversity and identity. These two conceptual categories contribute to better understand the social and cultural phenomena of post modernity. The black woman is the guy who gives his ethos to think about ethnic and racial and gender discrimination. These relationships are thought of as components of identification processes and diversity. In Brazil, the black woman has been investigated mainly by the Social Sciences, as a social being doubly stigmatized by having signs of inferiority related to gender and race. Some of the questions led to the production of the text presented here, these questions are: What is the specificity of black women in Brazil? What are your chances of transit between identity categories? What are the social, cultural and political mechanisms that are indicators of processes of new signification of belongings?
