Development strategy choice for state-owned companies in machine-building industry as a result of economic potential diagnostics

The essence of the methods forming a development strategy for state-ownedmachine-building enterprises, based on diagnostics of their economic potential due to theevaluation of their permanent growth level has been considered. Several state-owned machinebuilding plants have been analyzed among the selected enterprises from the list of those controlledby the Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine. The level of economic potential forthe chosen companies has been determined by the computation of the indexes of permanent andinternal growth. As a result of the performed work the necessity for further diversification ofapproaches to the choice of development strategy has been proved. Legislation change concerningimplementation of the unique systematic approach towards the choice of the development strategyfor state-owned companies has been suggested.
