Imperfection of Ukrainian currency legislation as a barrier on the way of the banks currency activity development

Basic problems and contradictions of the current Ukrainian currency legislationare shown in the article. Its inconsistency both the inner and with international legislation restrainsthe development of currency activity in Ukrainian banks and expansion of the spectrum of currencyoperations offered by them.
