State and business sector in Ukraine: the genesis and characteristics of relationship

This article deals with the features of developing the relationship between the stateand the business sector in Ukraine. The authors distinguish two periods in these relationshipassociated with failures of public authorities and lack of domestic scientific research on finding therequired degree of government influence on the business sector. The features of the formation ofrelations between the state and national business sector are called: inefficient processes ofprivatization and deregulation; lack of the concept of state regulation of business; entrepreneurshipdevelopment without adequate market institutions under administrative restrictions; excessiveinfluence of the political constituent of economic reforms.
