The thermoplastic injection molding manufacturing process is the most widely used plastic manufacturing process worldwide. In order to manufacture parts with the highest quality, a methodology that modelizes that process using a neural network has been developed. The average error obtained in the model simplification is negligible, then being tested by real tests. At the same time, the input variables that are most influential in the final quality of the piece are finally determined.
