Theatre as human experience which finds its poetic way in the nature. Theatre which deeply bindsitself with the vocation to autobiography and ancient sense of the spirit. Theatre that is inspired,therefore, by the rhythm of rituals and deliberately foreign to mass society. This is the essence of Teatro delle Ariette, which had its founders leaving squares and stages of Bologna to retire themselves in the hills. In the rural context they have been able to find themselves and their craft again, throughout the link with land and animals. Paola Berselli and Stefano Pasquini, in the following interview, expose how theatrical practice has managed to become existential meditation and personal choice of life. Each one of their performances creates small passionate communities, sharing universal and innate feelings.
