Grid is actually a generic term for a number of simple rating-scale procedures. This technique is used for arriving at straightforward descriptions of how a person views the world in his or her own terms. In counseling activity, Repertory Grid Technique has some important applications, as the description of the ways in which a person thinks about his/her social environment, in order to understand the person or in support of a counseling relationship with that person. In this presentation, grid principles description will be made and an analysis of results of a hypothetical example will be done.
