Denying Humanity: The Paths of Dehumanization - After defining the different kinds of dehumanization investigated by social psychology i.e., animalization, demonization, biologization, mechanization, objectification the present work briefly reviews the literature concerning blatant and subtle dehumanization, focusing in particular on the studies related to the body objectification, and highlighting strengths and weaknesses of each theoretical approach.
