Theory and Application of Affinity Capillary Electrophoresis
|
Abstract:
Affinity capillary electrophoresis (ACE) is a technique for studying receptor-ligand interactions.ACE experiments are based on the different values of electrophoretic mobility of free and bound receptor.ACE can be introduced to many capillary electrophoresis models, such as CZE, MECC, CIEF, CGE etc. It's applications include immunoassays, determining the binding constants of formed complexes, screening libraries for lead compounds, sequence-specific and base composition-specific recognition of oligodeoxynucleotide etc.
