The Iterative Calculation of Data Acquisition Time in Chromatography Workstation
|
Abstract:
A continuous and speed change data acquisition method was suggested by iterative calculation of data acquisition time in this paper. This method has such advantages as fewer sampling points, saving inter memory space, rapid data handling and smaller errors. In normal data handling system the data acquisition is at equal interval. Thus the data points will be over concentrated for the later chromatographic peaks. According to the canonical distribution theory, it is calculated that the relative error of the integrate peak area of single peak is only 10-6 when the sampling point of a single peak is not less than fifteen points. In this paper, based on retention time, peak width at half height and the definition of sampling speed, an equation was established: Using this equation a group of data acquisition time might be calculated by iterative calculation method assuming that there are 20 sampling points for each peak. This group of data acquisition time was put in down mark variates and in this way the automatic, continuous and speed-change collection method was established.
