everal biological samples from a secobarbital intoxicated person were analyzed by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(GC/MS).The samples were extracted with ethyl ether after acidification and then inject-ed into GC/MS for qualitative and quantitative analysis. Secobarbital was found in gastric juice,blood andurine of the patient, and its four metabolites were identified from urine. Secobarbital In these samples werealso quantitated by GC/MS. These results are instructive to cure suchlike patients.
