n this paper,a dynamic database is set up in order to collect the information about TLC methods ofsteroids in various pharmacopoeias including the United States Pharmacopoeia,2 2nd edition,the BritishPharmacopoeia,88th edition and Chinese Pharmacopoeia,1990 edition,With this database,it is quite easy toaccess TLC data for a particular steroid in any pharmacopoeia mentioned above and to compare the data indifferent pharmacopoeias at the same time.
