High Performance Liquid Chromatographic Analysis of Diesel Fuels

Abstract:
iliver ion is exchanged on a silica based cation exchange column. With this column,when n-hexane con-taining benzene or cyclohexene(as modofier)is used as mobile phase,base-line separation is obtained for sat-urates and olefins in diesel fuel.Improved Tnoving wire-FID is used as detector, which give good quantitativeresults.Based on the above results,a high performance liquid chromatographic system has been developedfor group analysis of diesel fuel.
