Preparation and Charaterization of Multifunctional and Azacrown Ether Bonded Phases

Abstract:
hree polar phases,3-chloropropyl,3-(dihydrodiethylamino)propyl,3-(aza-18-c-6)propyl bondedphases were prepared via solid-liquid phase reaction on the surface of porous silica. Organic element and func-tional group analysis,infrared spectroscopy,thermal analysis and determination of complexing capacity formetal ion,etc. were used for identification and characterization of bonded phases. The results of chemicaland instrumental analysis showed that the bonded reaction was accomplished according to the pathway pre-scribed.The bonded phases have various chromatographic behaviors. The important effect of polar interac-tion on the retention and separation selectivity for the solutes in HPLC was observed.
