Abstract:
Seeddevelopment,heatstableproteins,theaccumulationof sugars,andantioxidativesystems,whichassociatewithseeddesiccationtolerance,arereviewed.Thestorageof recalcitrantseedsisdifficult dueto theirsensitivityto desiccation.Thepossiblewaysto increasedesiccationtoleranceforrecalcitrant seedsaresuggested.
