Sesuvium portulacastrum, A Promising Hhalophyte in Research and Application

Sesuvium portulacastrum (Aizoaceae) is a perennial, berbaceous facultative halophyte naturally growing in the tropical and subtropical coastal areas. The advances in mechanism research of Sesuvium portulacastrum under drought, high salinity and heavy metal stresses were reviewed. Meanwhile, its potential value and probably application were also discussed.
