GRID TECHNOLOGY FOR PRECIPITATION AND HUMIDITY INFORMATION IN NORTHEAST CHINA

Abstract:
By applying GIS and databases in association with topographical factors as slope, aspect and sheltered degree and geographical factors as longitude, latitude and altitude in the northeast of China are obtained. On the basis of the mathematical theorem of tendency simulation and stepwise regression, the arranged climatic data, the precipitation and humidity about the northeast of China from 1960 to 1990, has been analyzed and operated. Accordingly, regression equation about precipitation and humidity together with their effective factors is established. Judged from the results, the equation is fairy well. Furthermore, the thematic meteorological maps concerning precipitation and humidity are drawn, of which resolvability is 1 km 2 and format is GRID. The result attained matches well with the meteorological data observed.
