AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT AND EFFICIENT UTILIZATION OF AGROCLIMATIC RESOURCES IN WESTERN REGION OF CHINA
我国西部地区农业开发与农业气候资源高效利用

It has been the common sense that much attention should be devoted to make full use of agricultural resources advantages in the development of west of China. Based on the characteristic of agricultural production in western region of China, impact coefficient and climatic potentialities of agro-climatic resources on crops are analyzed and discussed. The results indicate main factors impacting on efficient utilization of agro-climatic resources are frequency of agro-meteorological disasters and unreasonable agricultural structure. Therefore, main ways and countermeasures of increasing utilization rate of agro-climatic resources are enhancing agro-meteorological disaster forecasting, monitoring and defending. Furthermore, much effort should be paid to agricultural structure adjustment, the core of which is to adopt the principle of suiting measures according to local conditions.
