LANDSCAPE DYNAMICS AND SUSTAINABLE LAND USE OF COASTAL WETLANDS RESOURCES IN LIAOHE DELTA

The impact of economic development and we tland dynamics on regional ec o-environment, especially the endangered waterbirds habitats are reviewed in th is article by analysing the landscape changes of Liaohe Delta wetlands in recent years. As regarded to the promising way of future habitat management, the meanin g of habitat renewal and habitat migration are detailed and discussed, including their concept, principles and approaches. Finally, the application of habitat r enewal and habitat migration in regional sustainable development of Liaohe Delta wetlands is explored.
