xploitation and utilization of island natural resources is vital to the economic development of off shores. To develop island eec-tourism,it would be beneficial to not only island economic development but also to humanistic and ecological development and internal and external exchanges. Therefore,a long-term development programme should be drawn on island tourist economy for the purpose of coordinated and sustainable development. Corresponding countermeasures are proposed on exploitation and protection of eec-tourist resources.
