A RESEARCH ON INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT IN YUNXIAN COUNTY OF NORTHWESTERN MOUNTAIN AREA OF HUBEI PROVINCE
鄂西北山区郧县工业发展研究

his paper reviews the history of industrial development and current conditions of Yunxian County in northwestern mountain area of Hubei Province,analyzes the present situation of resources for industrial development and summarizes the successful experience obtained in the county by insisting on the strategic policy of relying--on local resources.The No.2 Automobile Plant, by making full use of resources superiority to speed up development process of resources-oriented industry, selecting optimum industrial growing point to optimize combination key of industrial production and taking market as orientation,local famous brand,good quality and special products to promote development,has set a good example. Suggestions are made in the paper to cope with the difficulties confronted in industrial development and to further the development in the county.Taking the county as a case, the study attempts to theoretically explore an appropriate road for industrial development and flourishing mountain economy.
