Climate is a key component of the human settle environment.In order to examine climate suitability in major cities in Gansu Province,in the present work,on the basis of meteorological variables(e.g.,sunshine duration,wind speed,temperature,and relative humidity) in 31 cities,the thermal humidity index(THI),wind chill index(WCI),index of clothing(ICL)and degree of climate comfort-ability consisting of THI,WCI and ICL over these cities were calculated and analyzed in detail.Results on the THI indicated that t...
