CRITICAL CONSTRICTING FACTORS TO KNOWLEDGE PRODUCTION,DISSIMINATION AND APPLICATION IN CHINA

Abstract:
Knowledge economy refers to economy that takes knowledge production, dissimination and application as its basis. Correct analysis of the critical constricting factors that limit the knowledge production, dissimination and application in China is of great significance to the formulation of corresponding development strategies of knowledge economy. Based on examination of current conditions in China, the paper holds that the principal constricting factors to China's knowledge production, dissimination and application are the backward management mechanism, inadequate capital input, inmature market development, slownessin personnel training and lack of risk investment mechanism. Confronting the challenge and opportunities in the era of knowledge economy, only China tightens her pace of development and reform, and eliminates constricting factors that can she occupy a position in the competition of world knowledge economy.
