LAND EVALUATION FOR SUSTAINABLE USE BASED ON LANDSCAPE ECOLOGIC THEORY
|
Abstract:
Land sustainable use has become one of the important issues in the world. There are many new ideas needed to improve land evaluation for sustainable use in order to make it more perfect. Based on the concepts of sustainable development and land sustainable use, we attempt to combine the basic principles of landscape ecology into land evaluation for sustainable use. This is discussed from five aspects as follows: holistic, scale (including time scale, space scale and key scale), spatial pattern and ecological process (including stability of spatial mosaic, evaluation method based on spatial pattern and analysis of relationship between spatial pattern and ecological process), disturbance and human impact (including disturbance and adaptation, human impact), and multi value and multi objectives.
