PHYSIOLOGICAL RESPONSE AND SPECTRAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SUMMER CORN UNDER NUTRIENT STRESS CONDITION
|
Abstract:
Three nutrient elements (N, P, K) at different level are incorporated into the experimentation of nutrient balance from 1997, and reflectance spectrum and physiological parameters for leaves of summer corn are measured within the whole growing period in 2000. Then, the hyper spectral characteristics of summer corn under nutrient stress condition are examined. Moreover, the relationship between the characteristics of reflectance spectrum and the biophysical parameters are analyzed. As shown in the results, the summer corn has special characteristics of physiological and agricultural responses; besides, chlorophyll is an important indicator for corm productivity. Owing to the correlative relationship between the reflectance spectra, the first derivative spectra of canopies and the chlorophyll content of summer corn leaves, it is possible to distinguish the sensitive wave band of nutrient stress in different growing phase. And such correlation can be used to estimate the nutrient stress condition. It can be conclude that, the hyper spectral remote sensing data has a great significance in the research of nutrient status and crop yield.
