HIGH EFFICIENT AND INTENSIFIED USE OF URBAN LAND AND ITS EVALUATION INDEX SYSTEM

High efficient and intensified use of urban land is not only an essential request for sustainable urban development but also one of the hot spots for recent urban land use study at home and abroad. Based on brief review of high efficient and intensified study history of urban land use theory, the paper analyses the urgency in high efficient and intensified use of urban land and connotation of high efficient and intensified urban land use. It then identifies an index system to evaluate high efficient and intensified urban land use by using goal based framework. The index system contains two major subjects of high efficient evaluating system and intensified evaluating system, seven minor subjects of rationalized urban land structure, high efficient social benefits, high efficient economic progress, high efficient environmental dvelopment, complete urban land use, convergent urban land use, and synthetic urban land use. In the study, the evaluating index system comprises 21 evaluating indexes to indicate the major subjects and minor subjects.
