EUTROPHICATION OF CHINA'' S THREE LAKES:CURRENT SITUATION AND COUNTERMEASURES
|
Abstract:
In recent years, eutrophication of lakes, induced by water pollution and water environment worsening, has gained increasing interests. Thus, to explore the causes of eutrophication is becoming the key point of solving eutrophication. Aiming at this purpose, this paper, based upon extensive data collection, first analyzes the current situation of eutrophication of China's three lakes, Tai Lake, Chao Lake, and Dian Chi Lake. It is argued that lake is a complex ecological system combining physical, economic and social factors. To solving water pollution, comprehensive countermeasures, therefore, should be launched out. Furthermore, critical research fields deeply relating to eutrophication are suggested.
