Long-Term Changes and Essential Climatic Characteristics of Sunshine Duration over China during 1961-2007

Based on the linear tendency analysis for time series of sunshine duration from 756 key meteorological stations in China during 1961 to 2007 and the similarity thereof, China was divided into 11 sub-regions by using clustering analysis methods, from which, main characteristics of the long-term changes in sunshine duration and its spatial and seasonal differences were reasonably detected and analyzed.
