PRELIMINARY DISCUSSION OF SOUND ANTI-POVERTY SITUATION AND COUNTERMEASURES
试论当前我国扶贫的形势和对策

ased on the analysis of current situations in poverty alleviation work in China, the author raises a four-stage anti-poverty activities given priority to a summary of the fourth stage task.It refers to the attempts related to the eight poverty-relief measures adopted since 1990,concerning mainly with self education of poverty-stricken areas,quality improvement of local people,striving for aid from coastal developed areas and international agencies,and resettlement issue that cannot be ignored. Suggestions are put forward to the formulation of poverty-relief programmes as early as possible.
