STUSY ON EDIBLE INSECT RESOURCES AND THEIR EXPLOITATION AND UTILIZATION

Nature bears abundant resources of edible insects, which are considere d as a kind of nutrient and healthy food. This paper gives a general review of e dible insects as traditional food in the world, its resources, its nutrient valu e and exploitation of insect food. The major problems in the course of utilizati on are discussed and suggestions are offered.
