Shrub lespedeza(lespedeza bicolor Turz )is a perennial shrub species in the genus lespedeza of legume It has a wide range of adaptability,repid good palatablitity Moreover,it is beneficial for sil and water conservation and environmental protection Lespedeza seeds have been exported to Southeast Asia,U S A and Japan and have been well received In this paper,the biological,ecological,nutrient composition,feeding value and other characteristics of the plant are also examined The results can provide theoretical guidence to lespedeza breeding
