The selection of atmosphere of TE mode of seabed 2-D MT forward

Abstract:
The penetrate depth of electromagnetic wave transmitted in sea is compared with it transmitted in air, through the theory of penetrate depth. Compile the codes of seabed 2-D MT forwarding utilizing theory of 2-D MT forwarding, and the validity of codes is proved. Comparing with the response of forwarding model with layer of air and it without layer of air in the same condition, we find that a thin layer of sea will replace the air, and the quantity of electric field and magnetic field above the sea is approximately to be a constant. And some other conclusions are gained.
