UTILIZATION OF BIOLOGICAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION OF EAST TAIHU LAKE

Based on the analysis of the biological resources and environmental conditions in East Taihu Lake which represents freshwater macrophyte lake type, the possibility of exploiting the biological resources are discussed. Then, the practically-performed environmental protection measures are put forward which can be referred to the development and protection of macrophyte lakes in China.
