Study on physical property of rock in oil and gas exploration
油气资源探测中的物性研究

Physical property of rock, as the bridge between geology and geophysics, is a weak part in geoscience. The author measured rock magnetic susceptibility by using a lot of samples from an oilfield located in China, and analyzed the data of sorts, then summarized some experiences in measuring rock magnetic susceptibility.We conclude that the field result is the relative value, multi-measuring in multi directions shoud be adopted,mixturd samples should be exclusive and suitable scales of samples are to be chosen.
