Application of Precipitation Downscaling Method in Hydrological Model

Abstract:
Due to the increase of time interval and decrease of precipitation intensity within a month, no monthly runoff appears in some girdded cells as the monthly hydrological model is applied to the Huaihe River Basin. The modeling result is more reasonable when the monthly data was downscaled to daily resolution. The model is validated by using the HUBEX data during IOP (Intensive Observation Period) in 1998.
