SOIL RESOURCES IN CHINESE COSTAL ZONE

oil resources in Chinese costal zone were thoroughly investigated for the first time. By field survey, a classification system of coastal zone soils was drawnup, relevant maps were compiled, and areas of each type of soil were measured.The quantity and quality of soil resources in coastal zone are evaluated accordingto the basic characteristics of each major soil type. Advices are also given for therational utilization of these soil resources in ti.e future.
