A STUDY ON CHINESE AMORPHOPHALLUS RESOURCES

Germplasmas of Amorphophallus resources are mainly distributed in mountainous and hilly areas of southern China, of which over ten species are endemic to China. The chemical nutritive components of China's Germplasmas of Amorphophallus resources are principally amylum, glucosan, soluble sugar, etc. A warm, humid and weak light living environmental conditionis required. This paper evaluates the disease resistibility and blooming percentage of Amorphophallus Blume.
