IMPACT OF DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL WATER LAW ON INTEGRATED AND COORDINATED DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL DRAINAGE BASINS

Abstract:
The International Water Law is a conventional law dealing with international disputes on water use. In this paper several principal factors such as related international laws,social,economic and environmental conditions of the countries relevant to international drainage basins,regional economic cooperation and integration as well as ideas of sustainable development which influence the development of international water law are analyzed.Several principal basic laws such as development of international water law such as equitable and reasonable utilization,obligation not to cause significant pollution,general obligation to cooperation,regular exchange of data and information,etc.are discussed.The role of international water law in terms of guiding,restricting,supervising and promoting comprehensive development of international drainage basins are stated.
