With global development of environmental issues,the term of Ecology has become more and more attractive and its research scope more and more extensive.To whatever motives,the re raised industrial ecology has still got developed in countries like the United States,Japan and China and become a unacknowledged and unacceptable newly emerging science despite the fact that it failed to be recognized by ecologists and even was libelled at first.The exploitation and utilization of mineral resources was so closely related with eco environment that people used to turn a blind eye to it.Only over recent 20 years special attention has been gradually given to it as a consequence of the adverse effect caused by mineral resources exploitation and utilization along with industrialization process.Such an adverse effect is either direct or indirect,even continuous existed.Therefore,the interrlelationship between exploitation and utilization of mineral resources and ecoenvironment,its distinct characteristics,interactives as well as regularity of its evolution and development have become a necessity to be explored.It is hoped that the advancement of mineral ecology can make it to be accepted and become a branch of a big tree.
