The Influences of the Atmospheric Viscosity on the Mountain Waves and Wave Drag Induced by a Three-Dimensional Isolated Terrain
|
Abstract:
The effect of the atmospheric viscosity on the mountain waves and wave drag has been discussed in a two-layer model The studies show the atmospheric viscosity which represented by the linear Rayleigh friction is mainly to reduce the strength of the mountain waves
