The Present Status of Aerosol Research in China

The climate and environ ment are greatly affected by both natural and anthropogenic aerosols in many ways .For along time ,the Chinesescientists have undertaken numerousresearcheson aerosol,and made many achievements . This paper sum merize the recent achievements of aerosol re search in China, which include four main aspects of aerosol studies, such as the characterization of aerosol,its effects on climate , dust aerosol research and other researches related to aerosol. Finally , some urgent researches on aerosol are pointed out.
