Installation design of oil and gas well permanent fiber Bragg grating(FBG) sensing monitoring system is an essential aspect for its field application,which it needs complex techniques and expensive costs.The advances of FBG permanent sensing monitoring system installation design are summarized in this paper.According to usual completing well method,two FBG sensing monitoring system installation models of single well are introduced.Preparative works are discussed for downhole installation,and some problems are also presented.The perspective of oil and gas well permanent FBG sensing monitoring techniques and installation techniques are reviewed.
