Application of ground penetrating radar in the survey of the pavement thickness in highway

Abstract:
Discussion the physics premise of GPR detecting pavement thickness of highway,and builting up Geophysics model of highway pavement structure according to the practical situation of our country highway engineering construct.The method and the principle of radar detecting highway pavement thickness was introduced systematically.Illuminating the choice of the technique parameter in detection detailed,such as,sampling frequency,window length,the speed of detection.Then,each module of radar detection interpretation system using in detecting highway pavement thickness was been introduced.Such as the method,space-time domain filtering,migration in data preprocessing,and laying the foundation for assistant computer automatic identification reflection wave by summing up three important characteristics of reflection wave surface layer and base layer.At last,apply the SIR-3000 radar system to completing and acceptance of Yi-Chang highway pavement thickness,and by contrasting the 55 drill sample,it indicates that the radar detection could evaluate pavement thickness and provide dependable science for the engineering quantity nicely.
