APPLICATION OF STRENGTH REDUCTION METHOD ON THE STABILITY STUDY OF ROCK TUNNEL

Abstract:
Due to the heterogeneity of rock,the microscopic element in the microscopic level,the constitutive model based on damage mechanics and statistical theory,and the RFPA strength reduction method are used in the stability evaluation of rock tunnel.By using this method,not only the ultimate load and the safety factor, but also the failure mechanisms and fracturing patterns can be obtained,which can in turn be used for safety evaluation and in the selection of supporting scheme before construction.
