Base rock of Yellow River is the propective bank for the river. Its distribution is closely related to the safety of the Yellow River's bank. In recent years none of seismic, electric, magnetic or radar methods achieves good results. GPSTHBCG developed a multi-reflect tecknique of S-wave. This method has a breaking throngh in searching for base rocks. Its effectiveness is testified by well log.
