SOME ADVANCES IN NON-NEWTONIAN FLUID MECHANICS
非牛顿流体力学研究的若干进展

The fundamental concepts of micropolar fluid, couple stress fluid, fractional Maxwell fluid and smart fluid are described. The basic differences between these non-Newtonian fluids and Newtonian fluids are elaborated by simple examples. Advances in the fields of these non-Newtonian fluids are discussed.
