A METHOD FOR THE SOLUTION OF LARGE SPARSE NON-SYMMETRIC EIGENPROBLEMS
解大型稀疏非对称矩阵特征值问题的一个新方法

In this paper, a new method is proposed to compute a nested sequenceof orthonormal bases for the dominaut invariaut subspases of a real non-symmetric me-trix. The method is particularly applicable to the eigenvalue problems of large sparsematrices, since it requires only that one is able to form the product of the ma-trix in question with a rector. A convergence theory for the method is developed andpractical details are discused.
