NOTES ON THE UCGVC DIFFERENCE SCHEME FOR THE NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF EULER EQUATIONS

A high order accurate finite difference scheme (UCGVC) for solving the Euler equations is described in this paper. The flux vectors in Euler equations are split by using Sieger-Warming's flux vectors splitting technique1]. The flux vectors are approxunated by using upwind compact scheme2]. In order to preyed the nonphysical oscillations in the vicinity of the shock the group velocity control method is used.
