BEST UNIFORM VARISOLVENT APPROXIMATIOM

It is showed briefly in this paper that, for the best uniform approximation by varisolventfamilies, there are close relations between weighted and interpolatory approximations, biasedand one-sided approximations. A new method is provided for computing interpolatory or one-sided approximation. Numerical examples are given.
