In this paper, we show explicitly that by making use of the convergence of Thiele-type bran-ched continued fractions for two-variable functions, the samelson inverse may be used to definebivariate vector-valued rational interpolants. Our results are extensions and improvements of thosefor the one-variable case given in 1] and 2].
